This poster presents a systematic three-step procedure for rapidly developing cradle-to-gate life cycle inventories for chemicals using the ecoinvent database. The method covers reaction stoichiometry and mass balance, by-products and waste, and utilities. It is demonstrated for 55 organic and inorganic chemicals, with an estimated modelling time of about one hour per chemical for a trained practitioner.
