



Ivan is our branch manager of our Barcelona office. He started working in life cycle assessment in 1998 and got his Ph.D. in environmental science in 2006 from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Ivan's areas of expertise include LCAs for ecodesign, solid waste management, water and wastewater treatment, agriculture and food production, including related tools like environmental risk assessment, life cycle costing and water footprinting. From 2009 to 2013 he worked in the UK for Unilever.

Miguel is responsible for the design and maintenance of our Python-based LCA models and their integration into various software solutions. He has a background as an industrial engineer, with a Master’s in Waste and Resource Management. He holds a PhD from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada, and has previously worked as a research assistant at Oxford University.

Erica is an experienced project lead on diverse projects involving palm oil, biofuels, and food waste prevention. Her specialty lies in the agrifood sector, where she has focused on biodiversity impacts and land use change modelling. Besides working for 2-0, she teaches life cycle assessment as an adjunct professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. From there, Erica obtained her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering in 2022.

Martí is a project lead and expert in the LCA of food and agriculture, forestry, and chemicals. He has extensive experience in advising clients and managing product-level LCA projects across a wide range of sectors. Before joining 2-0 LCA, Martí taught LCA and supervised Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut de Ciència i Tecnologia Ambientals (ICTA-UAB), where he also earned his PhD in the LCA of circular farming practices in 2020.

Kevin supports the development of life cycle assessment methodologies with 2-0 LCA with his strengths in computer science and data architecture. He is a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from CentraleSupelec (France, 2019), and M. Sc. In Machine Learning, Robotics, Computer Vision from the University of Lorraine (France, 2019). Kevin has worked as a software developer, a project manager, or a presales consultant in different tech companies before joining us.
