This course offers extensive insight into LCA theory and modelling with a mix of lectures, exercises and presentations to further your understanding of the material. We will do a deep dive into both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to become a confident LCA practitioner. You will learn hands-on how to build and conduct consequential LCAs, understand the importance of maintaining physical and monetary causalities, and how to reduce the risk of greenwashing. The course also covers how to do critically review and quality-check of your results to ensure transparency and reliability.

To ensure everyone starts out on the same footing, we provide pre-reading materials and introductory sessions on the first day to establish a shared vocabulary. On the second and third days, we dive deeper into advanced topics. Each day will include challenges tailored to all skill levels, ensuring we meet you at your current level of expertise.
